Restaurant Spotlight

During these unprecedented times, one of the hardest-hit industries is dining. We all fondly remember going out to eat in the pre-pandemic days, but it’s been hard for many people to do so. We at the Wolf Howl wanted to share our favorite restaurants in a local business spotlight!

Mingle and Graze is a Chandler spot serving up the prettiest cheese boards in town. Located on Arizona Ave., Mingle and Graze is a vital local business in Downtown Chandler. We at the Wolf Howl highly recommend this spot!

West Alley BBQ, a black-owned business in the heart of Downtown Chandler, is another staff favorite. This Tennessee-style spot serves up some of the most authentic and delicious barbeque in the valley.

RigaTony’s is a great family friendly restaurant for classic Italian food! It’s a little further, but this spot is still such a favorite of the Wolf Howl staff that we host our annual senior dinner here!

Peixoto is a coffee shop with house-roasted beans grown on their family farm in Brazil. A local business in the heart of Downtown that’s just a short walk away from Chandler High is a great destination for any coffee-lover.

Singing Pandas is Chandler’s best stop for dinner and a show! The delicious Chinese food and the lively atmosphere, coupled with classic performances all week, make for an unforgettable experience.

Sozo is a great spot for coffee, as well as poetry and open mic nights! They also support a variety of charitable causes.

Pizza on 87, located just down Arizona Avenue, is a fun and classic pizza place for the whole family. The food is great and they offer something for everyone.

El Sol is a Chandler institution with some of the best mexican food in town. It’s located on Arizona Avenue and it’s a great take-out spot. Our staff reporter Atticus interviewed Alessia De la Cruz from El Sol. She said that although COVID has hit the business hard, they are “so lucky to have such a loyal community behind us.” She recommended trying the carnitas!

Chon Thai is an amazing and flavorful Thai restaurant in Chandler! The Wolf Howl staff highly recommend this delicious and fresh spot!
